Casual Concert / Freelance Orchestral Agreement β April 2015/16August 7th, 2015
These Terms and Conditions have been agreed between the Association of British Orchestras and the Musicians' Union, each recognising the other to be the appropriate body to negotiate on behalf of its members. They shall be regarded as having come into force on 1st April 2015, and shall govern the freelance engagement of musicians for orchestral, choral and other similar concerts by orchestras in membership of the ABO (other than BBC orchestras), and concert societies of Making Music, the National Federation of Music Societies, which federation is itself a member of the ABO. The supplementary rates and conditions in the Appendix apply to tours within the UK.
