Sprint Nextel Corporation, a Kansas corporation (the “Company”), proposes to issue and sell to the underwriters named in Schedule I hereto (the “Underwriters”), for whom you (the “Representatives”) are acting as representatives, the number and type of securities identified on Schedule I hereto as Firm Securities (the “Firm Securities”) and up to the number of additional securities identified on Schedule I hereto (the “Additional Securities”) if and to the extent that you determine to exercise your right to purchase such Additional Securities (which, together with the Firm Securities are referred to herein as the “Securities”).
