    June 23rd, 2017

In-home child care is defined as child care that is provided in the child(ren)’s own home by a provider who does not live in the child(ren)’s home. In-home care may only be used by a parent/caretaker between the hours of 9:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. Exceptions for the use of in-home care outside the hours of 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. are permitted where care outside the home is a risk to the child’s health. The child’s health condition and risk to health must be documented by a licensed physician or psychologist and explain the necessity for in-home care for reasons related to the child’s health.
