THIS MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING (hereinafter “MOU” or “Agreement”) is made and entered into as of this 1st day of July, 2018, by and between the Board of Trustees of the Maricopa Unified School District (hereinafter “MUSD” or “District”), a public school district organized and existing under the laws of the State of California, and Heartland Charter School (hereinafter “Charter School”), a nonprofit public benefit corporation duly organized under the laws of the State of California (collectively, “the Parties”).
