This project will consist of the removal of caliche on approximately 3.3 miles of oilfield road no longer in use. In addition to the road, one pad no longer in use (0.6 acres) will have caliche removed. A seed mix including Little Bluestem, Sand Bluestem, and Plains Bristlegrass will be drilled on the road and pad at a rate of 10 pounds of live seed per acre. The project will be monitored on a yearly basis to determine success of seeding efforts.
