On November 6,2007, your Board awarded a contract to Ralph Larsen Son, Inc. to construct the County’s animal services facility. This project is constructing a single story wood frame building with covered exterior kennels, animal exercise areas, a service yard, on-site parking, administrative offices, and landscaping on the County-owned site at Seventh Avenue and Rodriguez Street in the Live Oak neighborhood. This project continues on track to be completed in Fall 2008.
