This Agreement shall be effective as of July 1, 2019, and shall continue in effect until June 30, 2021. All contracts issued during this time shall reflect its provisions. This Agreement shall not be extended orally and shall be in full force and effect from year-to-year unless changes are requested by the Board or by the Union. The Union shall not demand that professional negotiation conferences begin until after January 1, 2021, but if negotiations are desired, either party must serve written notice of intention to negotiate no later than April 1, 2021, stating specifically the items to be negotiated. If such notice is not served, the Board shall not be required to negotiate any items for the following school year. The Board agrees to schedule all negotiation meetings at a time other than in conjunction with regular or special Board meetings.
