This Agreement is entered into by the Missouri Nurses Association, (hereinafter referred to as "MONA" or "Union"), and the State of Missouri, Office of Administration and the Department of Mental Health (hereinafter where appropriate jointly or severally known as “Employer”), on behalf of the eligible Employees (persons in the Bargaining Unit of Registered Professional Nurses employed by the Employer as registered nurses). It is the purpose of this Resolution to comply with the provisions of the Section 105.520, RSMo. It is the purpose of this Agreement and the intent of the parties to establish harmonious understandings and relationships between the Employer and the Union. The parties recognize a responsibility, both individually and collectively, to promote the safety and welfare of the Employees and clients, the efficiency and economy of operations, and the delivery of quality health care to clients of the Missouri Department of Mental Health.
