This Design Phase Agreement (“Agreement”) effective this day of , 2010, is made by and between National Railroad Passenger Corporation, a District of Columbia corporation with its principal offices located at 60 Massachusetts Avenue, N.E., Washington, DC 20002 (“Amtrak”), and the District of Columbia (the “District”), a municipal corporation operating through the District Department of Transportation (“DDOT”) with its principal offices located at 2000 - 14th Street, NW, 6th Floor Washington, DC 20009 (jointly referred to as the “Parties”).
