This Agreement (“Agreement”) shall be deemed effective as of March 11, 2002 (the “Effective Date”), between RVP Fiber Company, L.L.C. (“RVP”), a Limited Liability Company organized under the laws of the State of Michigan, with offices at 20 Monroe Avenue, NW, Suite 450, Grand Rapids, Michigan 49503 and Verizon North Inc., f/k/a GTE North Incorporated and Contel of the South, Inc., d/b/a Verizon North Systems (“Verizon”), a corporation organized under the laws of the State of Wisconsin with offices at 100 Executive Drive, Marion, OH 43302 (Verizon and RVP may be referred to hereinafter, each, individually as a “Party”, and, collectively, as the “Parties”).
