THIS GROUND LEASE (this "Lease") is entered into as of the day of , 2010 (the “Effective Date”), by and between THE PHILADELPHIA HOUSING AUTHORITY, a public body corporate and politic organized under the Housing Authorities Law of 1937, 35 Pa. Stat.§ 1541 et seq. of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and a public housing agency as defined in the United States Housing Act of 1937, 42 U.S.C. § 1437 et seq. ("Landlord"), and the CITY OF PHILADELPHIA ("Tenant"), a City of the First Class of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, acting through its Department of Public Property for the benefit of the Department of Parks and Recreation.
