This agreement is for all early years Providers in the Private, Voluntary, Independent and Maintained Sectors based in York who wish to claim the Department for Education (DfE) funding for the delivery of Funded Early Education places (FE) for 2, 3 and 4 year olds. It builds on the guidance provided in the Department for Education Statutory Guidance and is intended to enable Providers and the Local Authority to understand their respective roles, explain the financial arrangements and funding process and to ensure that the FE delivers the best outcomes for children and their families.
