This deliverable uses a variety of resources to explore user understandings of privacy with regard to their online activity and the range of user expectations and requirements and ethical considerations UCN will need to take into account in order to design a platform that properly addresses user privacy concerns. It then presents the way in which the UCN environment will be constituted in order to meet people’s privacy requirements and the kinds of security models UCN will adopt in order to ensure privacy is preserved at all points.
