IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by section 8B of the Foreign Investment Promotion Act, the Acting Cabinet Secretary for the National Treasury and Planning declares that the arrangements made between the Government of the Republic of Kenya and the Government of the Republic of Mauritius, in the articles of the convention set out in the Schedule hereto and signed on the 10th April, 2019, for the reciprocal promotion and protection of investments in relation to foreign investments shall, notwithstanding anything to the contrary in the Act or any other written law, have effect to investment promotion and protection.
