DISCUSSION: This is an Agreement with Health First, Inc. to continue the Project SEARCH program at both Holmes Regional Medical Center and Cape Canaveral Hospital. Students with disabilities are provided with internships in various departments throughout the hospitals. The purpose of these internships is for students to acquire job related skills in real life situations with the goal of employment at the end of the year. The Agreement provides for reimbursement to Health First, Inc. to cover the expense of the 1.5 teachers. The funding is projected and payment is made in October and February based on the earned FTE. CONTRACT TERM: The initial contract term shall commence August 12, 2015 and continue until June 30, 2016. RECOMMENDATION: It is the recommendation of Dr. Beth Thedy, Assistant Superintendent of Student Services, Dr. Dawna Bobersky, Director of Exceptional Student Education Program Support and staff, to approve the attached agreemeent with Health First, Inc. in the amo
