The Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops Employees Association/Association des Employé(e)s de la CECC (Association) is voluntarily recognized, pursuant to section 7(3) of the Ontario Labour Relations Act as the collective bargaining agent on behalf of the Employees of the Ottawa offices of the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops - Concacan Inc. (Employer); and the Association and the Employer agree to enter into a collective agreement for the purpose of establishing rates of pay and other terms and conditions of employment for the Employees represented by the Association. The parties acknowledge that there may be positions within the workplace that require certain qualifications that are consistent with the philosophy and the teachings of the Catholic Church. The positions that fall under the jurisdiction of the Code of Procedures of the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops must follow these procedures.
