The Colombian Association of Investigators in Switzerland (ACIS) participates in investigative and co-operative projects in the environmental field. ACIS was founded in 1992 at Lausanne, Switzerland, by a group of Colombian researchers working in diverse academic and research activities. Since its creation, among other activities, ACIS has been the Swiss node of the Red Caldas network (Network of Scientifics Colombians in the world), where it has actively participated. ACIS is a non-profit association whose members are researchers and academics of different nationalities residing in Switzerland, with a special interest in the social, technological, and scientific development of Colombia.
