The Port’s Telecommute policy is aligned with the Department of Human Resources’ policy. Upon the City’s return to work, the policy will allow employees to telecommute up to three days with approval of their manager and Deputy Director. Program materials are posted online at sfdhr.org/telecommute. Employees who have been approved to telecommute must complete the online survey. Telecommuting is an option, not the standard and will be considered based on the needs of the business and employee’s ability to effectively work from home.
