This memorandum pertains to issues involving the proposed interlocal agreement between Salt Lake City and the Utah Transit Authority (UTA). The agreement is scheduled for a briefing on April 18 and a public hearing on April 20. If the City Council adopts the agreement, the Transit Authority could start construction of the extension as early as mid-September.1
