Loyola University of Chicago (the “University”) seeks to provide on-campus living for students at a reasonable rate. The University operates housing and dining services on a full academic year contract basis. The University's standard Student Housing Agreement appears in Sections A through Q below. Because of (a) the current COVID-19 pandemic (referred to herein, together with any related or similar health crisis, as "COVID- 19"), and (b) the University's need to (i) test, screen, monitor, safeguard, and otherwise address the health and safety needs of students, faculty and staff, third party contractors who work on campus, and others who visit or use the University's buildings and property, and (ii) comply with Public Health Requirements (as defined below), certain University services for the 2021-22 academic year (the “2021-22 Academic Year”) have been modified to protect the public health and safety of University students.
