This Interlocal Cooperation Agreement (the “Agreement”) is made and entered into as of the _______ day of __________, 2021 (“Effective Date”), pursuant to the Texas Interlocal Cooperation Act, Chapter 791 of the Texas Government Code (the “Act”), by and between the City of Galveston, Texas (the “City”), a Texas home-rule municipality, and the Board of Trustees of the Galveston Wharves (the “Wharves Board”), an entity created pursuant to the City Charter of the City of Galveston, Texas. The City and the Wharves Board are referred herein individually as “Party” and collectively as the “Parties.”
