This Addendum (Addendum) to the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), entered into and effective this day of , 2018, by and between the State of California acting through its Department of Transportation, herein referred to as “State,” and the Fresno Council of Governments, acting as the federally designated Metropolitan Planning Organization, herein referred to as “MPO,” further outlines the roles and responsibilities for the State and MPO to meet the performance-based planning and programming requirements established in the Moving Ahead for Progress in the 21st Century Act (MAP-21). This Addendum serves to provide more detail to the requirements identified in Section 4.9 of the existing MOU for Comprehensive Federal and State Transportation Planning and Programming between the State and the MPO, which was entered into effect on July 7, 2017.
