THIS AGREEMENT, effective July 1, 2021, by and between the Board of Education, Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, hereinafter called "EMPLOYER", party of the first part, represented by the Michigan Education Association (MEA), the bus driver unit, hereinafter called the "UNION", party of the second part. WITNESSETH: WHEREAS, the parties hereto have reached an agreement for the purpose of facilitating the peaceful adjustment of differences that may arise from time to time and promoting harmony and efficiency to the end that the parties hereto may mutually benefit, the parties hereto covenant and agree as follows.
