THIS AGREEMENT, entered into by the City of Lake Forest, Illinois (hereinafter referred to as the “City” or the “Employer”) and the METROPOLITAN ALLIANCE OF POLICE, Lake Forest Chapter #117 (hereinafter referred to as the “Chapter”) is in recognition of the Chapter’s status as the representative of certain of the City’s full-time sworn peace officers and has as its intent to set forth the parties’ entire agreement with respect to the rates of pay, hours of employment, fringe benefits, and other conditions of employment that will be in effect during the term of this Agreement for employees covered by this Agreement; to prevent interruptions of work and interference with the operations of the City; to encourage and improve efficiency and productivity; to maintain the highest standards of personal integrity and conduct at all times; and to provide procedures for the prompt and peaceful adjustment of grievances as provided herein.
