Community Safety Agreement 2008-11November 3rd, 2008
As Chair of the Safer Lancashire Board, I am pleased to present the Community Safety Agreement for 2008-11, which has been drawn up and prepared by all the partners on the Board to continue our progress to achieving our vision ‘To make Lancashire a place where people are and feel safe.’ The Agreement has been informed by the findings of the Lancashire Strategic Assessment and the strategic assessments of all fourteen Crime and Disorder Reduction Partnerships which were undertaken in 2008 and include consultation with the communities of Lancashire. It also builds upon the successes we have already achieved for local communities, including significant reductions in burglary, criminal damage and accidental fires in dwellings. All of which have been brought about by effective partnership working.
