However, in any instance in which an error occurs in the amount of any deduction of dues from an employee's wages, the Company shall adjust it directly with the employee. In the event of any mistake by the Company in the amount of its remittance to the Union, the Company shall adjust the amount in a next subsequent remittance provided the Company is notified by the Union within ten (10) days of the remittance. The Company's liability for any and all amounts deducted pursuant to the provisions of this Article shall terminate at the time it remits the amounts payable to the Union.
