Past disasters have shown that coordination of like services, within our communities, makes us stronger, is cost effective and maximizes the use of scarce resources. Further, disaster coordination is complex and requires communication and cooperation among all non-profits, community-based organizations (CBOs), private sector, and all levels of government.
