In July of 2009 a lawsuit was brought against the Minnesota Extended Treatment Options (METO) program in Cambridge, MN on behalf of individuals (and their families) who had been restrained or secluded as part of their treatment plans. In 2011, rather than going to trial a settlement was agreed upon by all parties. This is known as the Jensen Settlement Agreement.
