Having regard to Article VIII(11)(c) of the Agreement on the Conservation of Albatrosses and Petrels (ACAP) done on 19 June 2001 at Canberra, which provides that, at its first session, the Meeting of Parties (MOP) shall establish a Secretariat to perform the secretariat functions listed in Article X of ACAP;
