Under section 254 of the Road Vehicle Standards Rules 2019 (the Rules), the holder of a road vehicle type approval under which a vehicle is entered on the Register of Approved Vehicles (RAV) is liable to pay the RAV entry charge for each vehicle entered on the RAV. The charge is due and payable as specified in the invoice issued to the holder of the approval.
