Subgrade reinforcement must be installed to a width that is 2 feet more than the subgrade width, including turnouts. Geotextile fabric must overlap by a minimum of 2 feet at all joints. The geotextile fabric must be covered with a minimum of 12 inches of compacted size rock or material type as specified in Clause insert clause number and NAME. Purchaser shall apply rock in one-foot lift(s) over the geotextile in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications.
