XCU Coverage Sample Clauses

The XCU Coverage clause defines insurance protection for losses arising from explosion, collapse, or underground hazards during construction or related activities. This clause ensures that the contractor’s liability insurance specifically covers damages or injuries caused by these high-risk events, which are often excluded from standard policies. By including XCU Coverage, the contract addresses potential gaps in insurance, thereby allocating risk and ensuring that all parties are protected against significant, specialized hazards associated with construction work.
