Common use of Written Requests Required Clause in Contracts

Written Requests Required. If you or any occupant needs to send a notice or request—for example, for re- pairs, installations, services, ownership disclosure, or security-related matters—it must be written, signed, and delivered to our designated representative in ac- cordance with our policies (except in case of fire, smoke, gas, explosion, overflowing sewage, uncontrollable run- ning water, electrical shorts, crime in progress, or fair-hous- ing accommodation or modification). Our written notes on your oral request do not constitute a written request from you. Our complying with or responding to any oral request rules, you’ll pay an initial charge of $ per ani- mal (not to exceed $100 per animal) and a daily charge of $ per animal (not to exceed $10 per day per animal) from the date the animal was brought into your apartment until it is removed. If an animal has been in the apartment at any time during your term of occupancy (with or without our consent), you must pay for all cleaning and repair costs, including defleaing, de- odorizing, and shampooing.
