Common use of Written Requests Required Clause in Contracts

Written Requests Required. If you or any occupant needs to send a request—for example, for repairs, installations, services, ownership disclosure, or security-related matters— it must be written and delivered to our designated representative in accordance with our Community Policies (except for fair-housing accommodation or modification requests or situations involving imminent danger or threats to health or safety, such as fire, smoke, gas, explosion, or crime in progress). Our written notes regarding your oral request do not constitute a written request from you. Our complying with or responding to any oral request doesn’t waive the strict requirement for written notices under this Lease. A request for maintenance or repair by anyone residing in your apartment constitutes a request from all residents. The time, manner, method and means of performing maintenance and repairs, including whether or which vendors to use, are within our sole discretion.
