Workweek/Workday/Work Year a) The regular workweek of a full-time unit member shall be forty (40) hours over five consecutive days. The regular workday for a full-time unit member shall be eight (8) hours. The regular work year for 12-month (full-year) workers shall be 260 working days; the regular work year for hourly workers shall be 181 working days. These
b) For the purpose of computing the number of hours worked, time during which a bargaining unit member is excused from work because of holidays, sick leave, vacation, compensatory time off, or other paid leave of absence, shall be considered as time worked by the unit member.
c) Time worked in excess of a bargaining unit member's normal shift shall be compensated to the next higher quarter hour providing the time worked is authorized and approved by the unit member's immediate supervisor.
d) A full-time member of the unit whose assigned work shift commences between 4:00
