Worksites a. Employees will be allowed to work remotely. When employees are needed to provide essential on-site services, the District will follow all local, state and federal guidelines to ensure each the employee’s physical safety. Any employee in a high- risk category or has a member of their household in a high-risk category as defined by Public Health, or other mutually agreed upon standard, should remain at home and given the option to work remotely, subject to Pandemic Leave.
b. The District will provide appropriate protective equipment for employees who are required to provide essential on-site services.
c. If an employee tests positive for COVID-19, the employee may notify the District at the worksite of a potential exposure. Employees who test positive may consent for release to aid other employees’ decisions to self-quarantine or seek medical treatment.

Worksites. 29 Normally, Employees shall not be required as a condition of employment to work on more than one 30 (1) campus. Employees may, however, be required to work at more than a single location in the 31 performance of their employment responsibilities. Such Employees shall be granted travel 32 expenses covering local travel between worksites. In-service activities are designed to improve the professional growth of all employees. In-service attendance shall be voluntary unless it is: Mandated by the District, State government, or Federal government; Required by the site administrator to meet a need for professional growth as documented in the Individual Professional Development Plan, the School Improvement Plan, or in other appropriate documents; or Mandated as a condition of employment. When funding is available through grants and special entitlements for employee training, employees shall be paid $20 per hour stipend for attending mandated in-service training beyond the contractual teaching day. The District shall provide required in-service training through the Training and Education Center at no cost to the employee. Within 30 days from 02/07/2019 the parties will convene a committee composed of seven members: three appointed from LCTA and three from district administration with the Director for Professional Learning as the chair. The chair will only vote if there is a tie. The committee will conclude its work by M ay 31, 2019. The committee will develop a compensation plan for in-service trainings. The committee's recommendation shall be presented to the bargaining team for final consent. In-service funds shall be placed in each cost center’s budget to support individual employee training requests and other school-based in-service. No more than two (2) half days of District-wide in-service, as authorized by the Superintendent, shall be held on designated planning days. Compensatory Time. Compensatory time shall be granted when the following provisions are met. Earning of Compensatory Time. Compensatory time shall be earned only for duties assigned specifically in advance by the site administrator beyond the contractual teaching day as required or essential to the stated objectives of a course or program. Compensatory time shall not be accrued and available for use until the assignment for which the time is provided has been completed. The nature of employee assignments beyond the scheduled workday, for which compensatory time will be granted, shall be determined by the site administrator in cooperation with the Shared Decision-Making Council if such exists at the school, consistent with the provisions of this Contract. Worksites. World Learning and its partners maintained a strong commitment throughout the project to ensure an effective and sustainable intervention at every worksite. Thus, site selection was of critical importance to the project’s success. following a comprehensive mapping and forecasting exercise during the first month of the project. In consultation with USAID, government partners and available data, World Learning initially selected 94 large scale (over 500 employees) public and private worksites representing agriculture, horticulture, textile, leather, cement, dam and irrigation construction and other economic sectors. Work sites were selected from all the targeted regions, but selection emphasized high-prevalence regions in order to be responsive to the epidemic’s regional variation and maximize impact of the project.
