Working with Workspaces. After setting up charts in a workspace, it is important to save that workspace. This makes the charts available the next time you start eASCTrend 6.0. A workspace in eASCTrend corresponds to a page or a layout. It contains one or more charts with your specified settings. You may have intraday charts, daily and/or weekly charts on the same workspace. You may insert one or more indicators to each chart. Settings for symbols, indicators, and charts can be set to the default values or to values you specify. Workspace options can be accessed from the File menu in the menu bar.

A workspace in eASCTrend is a page that displays one or more charts according to your specified settings. You may display intraday charts, daily, or even weekly charts on the same workspace. And you can mix any symbols, or even types of markets. You can insert one or more indicators in each chart. Settings for symbols, indicators, and charts can be set to the default values or to values you specify. The following workspace options can be accessed from the File menu in the menu bar. To be taken to the first empty workspace, from the File menu click New Workspace. Other ways to get to an empty workspace are to type the shortcut keys Ctrl-W, or simply click on an unused workspace tab at the bottom of the screen. There are a total of eight workspaces. Initially, the label on the tab of a blank workspace says Workspace followed by a number from 1 to 8.
