Common use of WORK TO BE PERFORMED AND DOCUMENTS Clause in Contracts

WORK TO BE PERFORMED AND DOCUMENTS. For and in consideration of the money hereinafter specified to be paid by the City to the Contractor for the Work provided for in this Contract to be performed by the Contractor, the Contractor hereby covenants and agrees with the City to fully perform the services, provide any materials called for to construct, and complete the Work called for by this Contract in a good and workmanlike manner in accordance with this Contract and the documents referred to herein in order to fully and properly complete this Contract within the time stipulated, time being made of the essence for this Contract. It is also agreed by the parties hereto that the documents to this Contract consist of this Contract and the following documents listed below (Contract Documents), all of which are and constitute a part of this Contract as if attached hereto or set out in full herein, viz:
