The "Work Spaces" clause defines the specific areas or locations where contracted work is to be performed. Work Spaces. The Manager shall ensure that the Theatre Management provides dressing room accommodation for all Artists and shall ensure that:
2.13.7.1 All accommodation shall be of a decent standard, with proper toilet and washing facilities, including the provision of hot water, easily accessible potable drinking water and, where body make-up is used, showering facilities.
2.13.7.2 Showering facilities are provided where strenuous physical activity is involved.
2.13.7.3 All dressing-rooms, backstage rehearsal and Performance areas shall be kept reasonably warm in cool weather and reasonably cool in warm weather, well ventilated and adequately lit, while the Artist is required to be in the theatre. The temperature of dressing-rooms, backstage rehearsal and Performance areas will be closely monitored and a reasonable temperature established for each show.
2.13.7.4 Adequate, clean and comfortable seating is provided for each Artist.
2.13.7.5 A drawer or cupboard that can be locked is provided for each Artist and where reasonably practicable a safe that can be used for the Artist’s valuables. An Artist may deposit valuables with the Company Manager for storing in the safe during the Performance. The Artist is fully responsible for the insurance of such valuables and the Manager shall not under any circumstances be liable for any loss arising from such deposit and storage.
2.13.7.6 Suitable rehearsal space and, where applicable, surfaces for dancing are provided and an adequate space for warm-ups.
Work Spaces. To avoid safety hazards, cross-contamination of art materials, and conflicts with TACS’ campus-wide operational schedule, Studio Time participants may not relocate their materials or workspace to places on TACS’ premises other than those designated for their specific medium. TACS cannot facilitate high-volume production work by individuals. For students needing a primary facility for a high- volume retail business, TACS recommends investing in a personal studio setup.
