Common use of Work Permits and warranty Clause in Contracts

Work Permits and warranty. The Executive warrants that he is legally entitled to work in the United Kingdom and will throughout the Employment continue to hold a valid United Kingdom work permit if appropriate. The Executive warrants that he will notify the Company in advance of any possible change to his immigration status, as soon as he becomes aware of any circumstances that might give rise to such change. Should the Company discover that the Executive does not have permission to live and work in the United Kingdom or if any such permission is revoked, notwithstanding any other term of this Agreement the Company reserves the right to terminate the Employment immediately and without notice or pay in lieu of notice and without referring to the warning stages of the Company’s disciplinary procedure. Notwithstanding any of the foregoing, the Company will not during the Employment unilaterally take action to revoke the Executive’s permission to work in the United Kingdom, unless required by law to do so.
