• Gender Neutral Wherever used herein, a pronoun in the masculine gender shall be considered as including the feminine gender unless the context clearly indicates otherwise.

• Gender; Number Words used herein regardless of the number and gender specifically used, shall be deemed and construed to include any other number, singular or plural, and any other gender, masculine, feminine or neuter, as the context requires.

• Genders The masculine, feminine and neuter genders used herein shall include the masculine, feminine and neuter genders.

• Gender Words used herein regardless of the number and gender specifically used, shall be deemed and construed to include any other number, singular or plural, and any other gender, masculine, feminine or neuter, as the context requires.

• Number and Gender of Words Whenever herein the singular number is used, the same shall include the plural where appropriate, and words of any gender shall include each other gender where appropriate.

• Masculine or Feminine Gender Unless otherwise specifically stated, any provision in this Agreement which is expressed in terms of the masculine shall, in its application to a female employee, be read with the necessary changes to express the feminine, and vice versa.

• Gender and Number Any reference in this Agreement to gender shall include all genders, and words imparting the singular number only shall include the plural and vice versa.

• Feminine/Masculine Pronouns Wherever the feminine pronoun is used in this Agreement, it includes the masculine pronoun and vice versa where the context so requires.

• Gender and Development 17. The Borrower shall ensure that (a) the GAP is implemented in accordance with its terms; (b) the bidding documents and contracts include relevant provisions for contractors to comply with the measures set forth in the GAP; (c) adequate resources are allocated for implementation of the GAP; and (d) progress on implementation of the GAP, including progress toward achieving key gender outcome and output targets, are regularly monitored and reported to ADB.

• Plural and Singular Unless otherwise specifically stated, any provision in this Agreement which is expressed in terms of the plural shall, in its application to the singular, be read with the necessary changes to express the singular, and vice versa.
