Women and Child Labor Clause Samples

Women and Child Labor. The Borrower shall cause CHNG, through Greengen and HTICL, to ensure that: (a) there is no differential payment between men and women for work of equal value; and (b) civil works contractors do not employ child labor in the construction and maintenance activities in accordance with the relevant laws and regulations of the Borrower.

Women and Child Labor. The Project Local Governments shall ensure that all civil works contractors engaged under the Project (i) provide timely payment of wages and safe working conditions to all workers including male and female workers (with such requirements being included in civil works contract and monitored by construction supervision consultant); (ii) provide women’s employment, where appropriate, and pay equal wages to the women employees for the equivalent work; and (iii) not employ child labor in Project activities as prohibited in the relevant national and local laws and regulations.
