WIDOW'S PENSION Clause Samples
WIDOW'S PENSION. 1. Provided that the general benefit preconditions are satisfied, the surviving spouse of the Employee shall be entitled to a widow’s pension.
2. The amount of the widow’s pension shall be 60% of the pension that the deceased was drawing at the time of death or that he would be drawing if he left the Company at that time due to a reduction in earning capacity or professional disability within the meaning of § 6 clause 1.1. For each full year that the wife is more than 15 years younger than her husband, the widow’s pension shall be reduced by 5% of its amount. If benefits are to be paid to a divorced wife under a pension rights adjustment, the widow’s pension shall be reduced accordingly.
1. Where applicable, these pensions shall be reduced accordingly.
3. The payment of the widow’s pension shall begin in the calendar month for which the widow does not receive any salary payments or salary compensation benefits under the former employment relationship of the deceased after the occurrence of the insured event. Said benefits shall include not only employer benefits but also benefits from other carriers or institutions, to the financing of which the company has contributed. The last payment of the widow’s pension shall be made in the month in which the widow remarries or dies.
WIDOW'S PENSION. (1) Should Mr. Gemmersdorfer pass away, then his present wife, Mrs. ▇▇▇▇▇ Gemmersdorfer, will receive a widow's pension.

(2) Payment of the widow's pension will start upon the end of the payments in accordance with ss. B (2). The widow's pension will be granted for life, but no longer than up to a possible remarriage. The widow's pension commitment will become discharged in the event of absolute divorce of the marriage.
WIDOW'S PENSION. 6.1 A widow's pension shall become payable to the widow of the deceased Employee or Pensioner.
6.2 No widow's pension will be paid if the marriage had taken place after termination of employment or after the Employee had attained age 60.
6.3 The amount of the widow's pension is determined as follows:
(a) if the deceased former Employee received a normal retirement pension from the Company in accordance with Section 3.1, or an early retirement pension in accordance with Section 4.1 or a disability pension in accordance with Section 5: 60% of the pension finally paid to the deceased.
(b) if the deceased Employee was entitled to an early retirement pension and died before the beginning of the pension payments: 60% of the early retirement pension, which would have to be paid if the pension would have started at the date of death.
(c) if the deceased Employee died while still in service with the Company: 60% of the entitlement to a normal retirement pension in accordance with Section 3.3 on the basis of Pensionable Service Time which the Employee would have reached if his service with the Company had continued until the Normal Retirement Date and on the basis of Final Pensionable Earnings determined as of date of death.
6.4 The widow's pension will be discontinued upon remarriage.
WIDOW'S PENSION. Upon your death, your wife will receive 60% of your --------------- pension for life. This shall cease upon remarriage or death.
