The WHOIS Accuracy clause requires that the contact and ownership information provided in the WHOIS database for a domain name is accurate and up to date. In practice, this means registrants must supply valid names, addresses, and other identifying details, and promptly update this information if it changes. This clause helps ensure that domain owners can be reliably identified and contacted, reducing the risk of fraud, abuse, or disputes related to domain ownership.
WHOIS Accuracy. Registrar shall implement and adhere to any WhoIs accuracy requirements that may be mandated by ICANN or Registry Operator, including without limitation the Registry Accreditation Agreement WhoIs Accuracy Program Specification, as may be amended from time to time by ICANN.
WHOIS Accuracy. 1.1 The Registrant shall provide to the registrar accurate and reliable contact details and promptly up date them during the term of the .LA domain registration including: full name, name of organisation, association or corporation (if applicable) postal address, email address, voice telephone number, and fax number if available; name of authorized person in the case of Registrant that is an organization association or corporation. 1.2 A Registrant's provision of inaccurate or unreliable information or its failure to promptly update information provided shall constitutes material breach of the registration agreement and shall be a basis for cancellation of the .la registered domain name.

These include taking action against those domain names that are being used to threaten the stability and security of the TLD, or are part of a real-­‐time investigation by law enforcement. Certain of the above commitments referenced in Question 28 and 29 will require the cooperation of the registrar channel and the Registry Operator commits to using commercially reasonable efforts to ensure such cooperation. Registry Operator shall comply with the PICDRP. Registry Operator agrees to implement and adhere to any remedies ICANN imposes (which may include any reasonable remedy, including for the avoidance of doubt, the termination of the Registry Agreement pursuant to Section 4.3(e) of the Agreement) following a determination by any PICDRP panel and to be bound by any such determination. Registry Operator will include a provision in its Registry-Registrar Agreement that requires Registrars to include in their Registration Agreements a provision prohibiting Registered Name Holders from distributing malware, abusively operating botnets, phishing, piracy, trademark or copyright infringement, fraudulent or deceptive practices, counterfeiting or otherwise engaging in activity contrary to applicable law, and providing (consistent with applicable law and any related procedures) consequences for such activities including suspension of the domain name. WHOIS Accuracy. 12.4.1. The Registrar must apply reasonable measures (which the Registry may describe in the Published Policies) to verify the accuracy and completeness of information provided to the Registrar in the Domain Name Application. In the case of TLDs, compliance with ICANN mandated measures will be sufficient in this regard.
