WHOIS Sample Clauses

The WHOIS clause governs the management and accuracy of domain registration information, specifically the public records that identify the registrant and administrative contacts for a domain name. In practice, this clause typically requires the domain holder to provide up-to-date and accurate contact details, and to promptly update this information if any changes occur. Its core function is to ensure transparency and accountability in domain ownership, helping to resolve disputes and facilitate communication regarding the domain.
