When Notices Deemed Given Clause Samples

The "When Notices Deemed Given" clause defines the specific point in time when a notice sent under the contract is considered legally effective. Typically, this clause outlines the methods of delivery—such as email, postal mail, or courier—and assigns a set timeframe after which the notice is presumed received, regardless of actual delivery. By establishing clear rules for when communications are officially recognized, this clause helps prevent disputes over whether and when important contractual notifications have been properly delivered and received.
