The Welders Certification clause requires that all welders performing work under the contract possess valid and appropriate certifications for the tasks they undertake. Typically, this means welders must be certified according to recognized industry standards, such as those set by the American Welding Society, and may need to provide documentation proving their qualifications before starting work. WELDERS CERTIFICATION. When the Union fills a request for a certified welder, such referred Operating Engineer shall have in his possession a current recognized certificate comparable to the local area or ASME test. If the job to be performed requires additional certification of any kind, the Employer shall pay for all expenses involved in securing such test.

WELDERS CERTIFICATION. Welders who possess a valid Army welder’s certification will upon furnishing a copy of such certification to the Company, be automatically promoted to Aircraft Welder, on the Monday following the date proof of certification is furnished to the Company, unless certification is furnished on Monday.
WELDERS CERTIFICATION. Any Employer requiring welders to have certification papers shall be responsible for all expenses of taking such tests when that test is taken at the request of the Employer. The Employer shall furnish the welder with a copy of the certification papers if they remain on the job to its completion or for thirty (30) days, whichever comes first.

WELDERS CERTIFICATION. When an employer or job requires a welder certification, the employer will pay the sheet metal worker for the time required to take such certification tests (not to exceed four (4) hours time). The employer will also absorb the cost of the test. The test must be taken at an acceptable independent agency or on the jobsite, as may be required by job specifications. If any sheet metal worker fails such test, the employer that requested such tests shall not be liable for the time required for that sheet metal worker to retake such tests for a period of six (6) months from the date of notification of the first failure.
WELDERS CERTIFICATION. Certified Welder- + 2.5% per hour of the journeymen wage while performing welds required by the plans or specifications to be certified.

  • Officer’s Certificate as Evidence Except as otherwise provided in Section 7.01, whenever in the administration of the provisions of this Indenture the Trustee shall deem it necessary or desirable that a matter be proved or established prior to taking or omitting any action hereunder, such matter (unless other evidence in respect thereof be herein specifically prescribed) may, in the absence of gross negligence or willful misconduct on the part of the Trustee, be deemed to be conclusively proved and established by an Officer’s Certificate delivered to the Trustee, and such Officer’s Certificate, in the absence of gross negligence or willful misconduct on the part of the Trustee, shall be full warrant to the Trustee for any action taken or omitted by it under the provisions of this Indenture upon the faith thereof.
