Weighting factor Sample Clauses
A weighting factor clause establishes a method for assigning relative importance or value to different elements, criteria, or components within a contract or evaluation process. In practice, this clause might specify that certain deliverables, performance metrics, or bid criteria are given higher or lower weights when assessing overall performance or determining contract awards. By clearly defining how various factors are prioritized, the clause ensures transparency and fairness in decision-making, helping to prevent disputes and misunderstandings about how outcomes are determined.
