Weight Tolerances Sample Clauses

The Weight Tolerances clause defines the acceptable range of variation in the weight of goods delivered compared to the specified contract amount. In practice, this clause sets a percentage or numerical limit by which the actual delivered weight can exceed or fall short of the agreed quantity without constituting a breach of contract. For example, a contract may allow a 2% weight tolerance, meaning deliveries within 2% above or below the stated weight are considered compliant. This clause ensures flexibility in fulfillment, accommodates minor discrepancies in measurement or packaging, and prevents disputes over insignificant weight differences.
