Week Rotation Sample Clauses
Week Rotation. A normal shift shall be twelve (12) hours and an average of forty (40) hours shall constitute a week’s work. The starting time of the day shift shall be arranged between 06:00 and 08:00, night shift from 18:00 and 20:00. The Monday night shift will be considered the start of the schedule/shift rotation. Employees working the five (5) week rotation will work one (1) week of a Balancing week shift. The intent of this period is to balance the employees additional hours worked through schedule/shift rotation to zero (0) or as stated in c. below.
Week Rotation. Coverage on the "twelve" hour shift is to be provided by a Day shift extending from 0730 hours to 1945 hours and a Night shift extending from 1930 hours to 0745 hours. Night shift shall be considered as the last shift of each calendar day.

There shall be thirteen (13) regular shifts of eleven (11) hours and fifty-five (55) minutes (11.915) hours duration in any two (2) consecutive bi-weekly periods and unless otherwise mutually agreed, no more than seven (7) such shifts may be scheduled in any one (1) bi-weekly period of work and no more than four (4) such shifts may be scheduled without a day off;

All Engineers will be required to participate in the daily maintenance of the plant and to provide relief duties as required on a rotating basis. Such maintenance duties will normally be scheduled for each Second Class Engineer over three (3) consecutive weekday shifts (12 hours per day) twice in every six (6) week rotating schedule. The parties agree to discuss appropriate means to allow reasonable time for employees to participate in fitness activities on campus (e.g., hockey, soccer, workouts, yoga, etc.) with due consideration to implications such as the paid lunch period. Week Rotation. The parties agree to maintain to a six (6) week rotation All Engineers will be required to participate in the daily maintenance of the plant and to provide relief duties as required on a rotating basis. Such maintenance duties will normally be scheduled for each Second Class Engineer over three (3) consecutive weekday shifts (12 hours per day) twice in every six (6) week rotating schedule. Under this schedule it is agreed that employees will endeavour to plan annual leave when it will have the least impact on operations. The intent is not to deny or discourage the use of annual leave. The intent of the parties is to work collaboratively to ensure that the system has a balanced approach to using maintenance shifts and overtime to address leaves. It is further agreed that as per Article 22.04, that maintenance shifts can be exchanged for the purpose of shift coverage. The request of annual leave will not be unreasonably denied.
